Welcome Ambassador Desk Volunteer  - Tesco Shopping Arcade, Sligo. 

We are seeking friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to help staff our Welcome Stand in the Tesco Shopping Arcade. The purpose of this stand is to offer a warm welcome to both locals and visitors, providing helpful information about Sligo and what  the town has to offer.

Is training provided?:Yes

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

• Greet visitors and provide a welcoming presence
• Share information about local services, attractions, events and businesses Offer general guidance on town layout and points of interest
• Represent Sligo Volunteer Centre in a positive and helpful manner
• Provide information on the Sligo Volunteer Centre services.
• Issue promotional material

Shifts:
A variety of 1–2 hour shifts are available Tuesday–Saturday, between 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Training:
A short training session will be provided in advance for all interested volunteers
