Description

The Kemmy Business School, in partnership with the UL President’s Volunteer Award, are currently recruiting volunteer KBS Student Ambassadors. This exciting opportunity will allow Ambassadors to help with the marketing and promotion of the KBS, and the recruitment of prospective students, throughout the academic year 2025-26.

All hours volunteered will go towards the President’s Volunteer Award, for either the Bronze, Silver, or Gold Medal, and you will have until the end of April 2026 to accumulate hours. You can also combine the work you do with KBS with other volunteer efforts if you wish to do so.

You will have the freedom to select what initiatives you would like to be involved in, to suit your interests and availability, but we do ask that all Ambassadors participate in our Open Day events.

If you are an enthusiastic, energetic, and positive team-player who has an interest in marketing, promotion, social media, writing and communication, and event planning, this is the ideal opportunity to enhance your skills and your student experience. Ambassadors should be passionate about promoting KBS and UL student life, and be able to speak to their experiences of studying Business.

Training and guidance will be provided.

We anticipate significant interest in this opportunity. Students will be invited for interview based on the information they supply in their application, so please ensure to provide and highlight any information that demonstrates how you are compatible with this role.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

The role will include the following tasks:

  • Participating in KBS events, such as Open Days and Taster Events
  • Engaging with prospective students at marketing and promotional events
  • Writing blog posts and testimonials about life in UL and the student experience
  • Contributing to our social media sites by taking part in promotional video and photo shoots
  • Assisting with the KBS School Visits process
  • Participating in a ‘Buddy Programme’ to help enrich the student experience for new and current students
  • Participate in focus groups and brainstorming sessions related to UL student support, student engagement and success, undergraduate promotion and recruitment.

The hours you work are up to you.
