Description

Galway Sports Partnership is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support activities during Women in Sport Week. If you’re passionate about empowering women and girls to get active, we’d love to have you involved. Join us in creating welcoming, inclusive opportunities that inspire more women to enjoy sport and physical activity across Galway.

Is training provided?:Yes

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

Assist GSP staff with event setup, registration, and participant check‑in.

Support coaches and facilitators during activities, ensuring sessions run smoothly.

Welcome participants and help create a friendly, inclusive atmosphere.

Provide general event support, such as distributing equipment or guiding groups.

Capture photos or short videos (optional) to help promote Women in Sport Week.

Help with surveys or feedback forms to gather participant insights.

Assist with tidy‑up and equipment organisation after sessions.
