We want to avoid good items going into landfill! Join in with Glassary - its the big campus move out volunteering project. We are award winning and we make a big impact - join in!
Glassary is back and it will take place from the 2nd to the 4th of May but for that to happen we need volunteers 😊
Is training provided?: Yes
Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Volunteers meet as a group at the Campus collection point on north campus and sort the donations from their fellow students moving away from campus. Volunteers group donations for redistribution away from landfill and into local charities and communities.
Meeting place: All volunteers will meet at the Goldcrest reception on campus.
Skills required for this role:
The volunteers will be asked to sort out everything that is donated so it can be ready for other students to take and charities. You get first pick of donations if you would like to take anything home.
Details of time commitment needed for role:
2 hours per session is the minimum time commitment. Volunteers are given a snack if they can stay on for a longer time slot. All volunteers get a free t-shirt!
Minimum time commitment per week:
2 hour p/week
