Requirements:UL Study Abroad TESOL students
Volunteers who are UL Study Abroad TESOL students, passionate about teaching English as an Additional Language (EAL). Training will be provided. This is a great way to make an impact on the lives of people from a displaced background. Volunteers will have the opportunity to observe classes, design lessons and gain further teaching experience.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Observations of class teachers
Lesson design and planning
Teach English as an Additional Language (EAL) to adults at UL AccessCampus
Skills required for this role:
Prior TESOL coursework at UL
High level of fluency in the English language
Friendly and enthusiastic
Passionate about teaching
Details of time commitment needed for role:
Afternoons
Minimum time commitment per week:
2 hour p/week
Additional screening required for this role:
Prior achievement in UL TESOL assessments
Completed mandatory trauma-informed teacher training
