Description

The Faculty of AHSS in collaboration with the national organisation Age & Opportunity are organising a panel discussion titled ‘Don’t come running to me!; characterisations of the Irish Mammy figure in Irish culture’. This is an inter-generational event abd will bring people of all age groups from UL and outside together for a discussion of about 1.5 hours (3-4.30), followed by tea/coffee in the foyer in the Analog Devices Building.

We are looking for people who would like to be at the door, greet people, check people off a list, and make sure everyone is comfortable.

We are looking for people who would like to be at the door, greet people, check people off a list, and make sure everyone is comfortable.

Skills required for this role:

No skills, just a friendly attitude and good people skills. We are expecting people from all age groups. This is part of the Bealtaine festival, so we are expecting some older people as well.

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Wednesday 22nd May from 2-5.30pm, this is a once off event.

Minimum time commitment per week:
3 hour p/week
