Requirements:We require volunteers to be energetic, fun and like playing with children
The movement group is specifically designed to engage children with autism in movement to develop skills such as balance, coordination, focus and attention. This has been developed by an autism specialist and play therapist.
Is training provided?: Yes
Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position.
Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Setup and breakdown of equipment, playing with children, following support plan and encouraging fun and movement
Skills required for this role:
Friendly, organised and energitic
Details of time commitment needed for role:
Wednesday from 4 pm to 5.30 pm every week
Minimum time commitment per week:
2 hour p/week

Garda vetting and application
