About Us:The UL Substance Use and Gambling Support Service (SUGS) is a campus-based initiative which aims to increase awareness and reduce harms.
Students who wish to volunteer will be provided with opportunties to participate in campus awareness events, upskilling and training events and inform the development of awareness campaigns around smoking, vaping, alcohol, drugs and gambling. Healthy UL/SUGS very much appreciate students taking time to learn more and developing knowledge and skills to help their campus community and far beyond.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Support campus and off-campus outreach awareness acitivities.
Engage with peers on and off campus.
Undertake certified training activities.
Participate in consultation activities.
All tasks are completely voluntary.

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Flexible depending on tasks.
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
Additional screening required for this role::
Informal 10 minute interview. CV may be requested. This role needs you to have an interest in the areas of substance use and gambling harm reduction/education/awareness .
