The aim is that Access students help new Access students settle into UL in September. Depending on availability a second mentoring option is In-school mentoring, to help potential Access Students Transition into University.
The programme will help develop your leadership, organisational, facilitation and active listening skills.
Mentor training is provided and is very beneficial when applying for future projects or jobs, for example if applying to be a Student Leader on the Transition to University Course (TUC).

Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position which will be processed with you after you apply.

Access Ambassadors will receive:
Details of time commitment needed for role:
Hours Vary throughout the Academic year but Access Office staff will aim to work around the Access Ambassadors availability.
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
Additional screening required for this role:
UL Access students who entered UL via HEAR or AUC access routes.
