Description

Citywise works to raise the aspirations of young people and supports them to achieve their full potential. Working with students from primary and secondary school in the local community, you will take part in the planning and delivery of extra-curricular and education-based activities which seek to encourage young people to think beyond school and love learning. 

Is training provided?: Yes

Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

  • Preparing and delivering activity based groups that provide club style fun and games, along with aiding in the delivery of outdoor trips.

Skills required for this role:

  • Creativity, interest in the wellbeing of children

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Monday 5pm-7pm or/and Thursday 4.40pm-6.30pm

Minimum time commitment per week:
2 hour p/week
