ONE has a network of Global Activists – in Africa, the United States, Europe and Canada – fighting against extreme poverty and preventable diseases. In Europe, the ONE Youth Ambassador programme – a one-year volunteer programme – is looking for passionate activists to join us for 2020. Next year presents a great opportunity to engage with political representatives to talk about the importance of vaccines in the fight against preventable diseases, overseas aid funding, the Global Goals, and much more.

If you believe that preventable diseases should be prioritised everywhere, then join us to make a difference in the fight against extreme poverty.

Youth Ambassadors are advocates for The ONE Campaign in their communities and beyond. The programme will take a few hours of your time a week and you’ll carry out a variety of creative and innovative actions in support of our campaigning and advocacy work. In total, there will be around 300 Youth Ambassadors throughout Europe, joining hundreds more who are part of our Global Activists network.

The volunteer programme will run throughout 2020, and each Ambassador will receive training, access to high-profile events, in-depth policy briefings, as well as dedicated support from ONE’s campaigns team. This role is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to become more engaged in international development or who wants to develop their skills in bringing about change.

Before you apply, please read our Youth Ambassadors information sheet (PDF) for further information about the programme.

If you are living outside of Ireland for the majority of 2020, unfortunately we won’t be able to accept your application. Apply via our website,
