Are you interested in developing a background in public relations and social media management, and shaping up for a career in communications? Or maybe you want to try your hand at managing a team, developing unique and engaging content, and propel a fellow student into a leadership role?
For Elections 2022/23, UL Student Life are looking to pair campaign managers with election candidates. It will be up to you and your candidate to craft catchy, engaging campaigns that best represent what change and vibrance you wish to bring to the UL Student Body community.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Plan, coordinate, implement and oversee an election campaign
Draft and design content for social media
To assist the candidate in motivating voters
Manage campaign budgets
Adhere to Election Regulations Board guidelines in the creation and dissemination of all campaign content
Attend an Election Regulations Board meeting with the candidate on Friday, 3rd March 2023 at 1:00pm
Understand and uphold codes of conduct as set out in UL Student Life Constitution Bye-laws
Skills required for this role:
Possess excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
High attention to detail
Excellent at using social media
Great organization skills
Knowledge of UL campus and issues impacting students
Flexible and adaptable
Project management

Ad-hoc
Minimum time commitment per week:
5 hour p/week
