Requirements:A Chemical Sciences undergraduate student, postgraduate student or member of the Department, UL.
Are you in the Chemical Sciences Department? is so we are seeking Ambassadors to assist with Science Promotion, marketing and raising awareness of the departments programmes. The person will represent the department at events such as science week, young scientist exhibition, explore engineering showcases and open days. The role may also include school visits, tours of department facilities, sitting on committees such as Safety committees and Athena Swan committees or taking on the role of departmental postgraduate representative.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Tasks may include:
Support at events such as science week, young scientist exhibition, explore engineering showcase and open days.
School visits
Providing tours of department facilities to students/visitors
Committee representation (e.g Safety committee, Athena Swan committee)
Departmental postgraduate representative
Skills required for this role:
Works well with others
Good communication skills
A good knowledge of the Chemical Sciences Department
Details of time commitment needed for role:
Ad hoc
Minimum time commitment per week:
2 hour p/week
