As a volunteer, you’ll be immersed in the incredible atmosphere on race day and will play a vital part in ensuring the event runs smoothly and safely. Our Volunteer Team are invited to get involved in both the organisation leading up to the Marathon, as well as the big day itself (June 4th 2023).
The work of our volunteers will be integral to ensuring our community of runners and spectators receive all the support they need throughout race day. No matter your previous experience, you can get involved in a wide range of roles, from manning our water stations, organising the bag-drop services and distributing snacks and goodies, to hosting registration, providing customers service at our exposition and recording race times. Our volunteers play an integral part at every stage of the Cork City Marathon weekend!
Applications are open to all people aged 18 and over. Further details will be provided to registered volunteers via email. Thank you for putting yourself forward to volunteer!

Various volunteer shifts are available.
Friday 2nd June (more than one shift can be selected):
10:00am - 2:00pm
2:00pm - 6:00pm
3:00pm - 7:00pm
Saturday 3rd June:
10:00am - 2:00pm
2:00pm - 6:00pm
3:00pm - 7:00pm
Sunday 4th June:
5:00am - 10:00am
10:00am - 3:00pm
3:00pm - 7:00pm
Minimum time commitment per week:
4 hour p/week
