Requirements:Available for the weekend of 24-26 March (very desirable from 20th to 27th of March), enthusiastic, and interested in great music
The Limerick Early Music Festival seeks volunteers to help usher concerts of global early music and help our new, young, and fresh festival bring 1000 years of music alive for audiences of every age. We are looking for volunteers to help with setup, ticketing, ushering, merchandise sales, information, and we also welcome volunteers with a knowledge of Limerick, who wish to bring this historic city to life for visitors and concert-goers.
Is training provided?: Yes
Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Concert set up, ticketing, ushering, merchandise sales, giving information, cleanup, flyer and poster distribution, marketing and PR (including social media), sidewalk chalk art adverts, moving chairs and music stands, handing out programmes.
Skills required for this role:
Flexibility during festival days, proximity to Limerick (or otherwise own transportation), proficient English, other languages always a plus, ability to assist with administrative work a plus.
Details of time commitment needed for role:
Friday-Sunday 24-26 March, especially vital. Other days during March will be helpful and are flexible, specifically from 20th to 27th. And we are welcome to volunteer the full month!
Minimum time commitment per week:
3 hour p/week
