Requirements:an interest in, or the desire to gain an interest in Galways rich maritime history


The role requires flexibility and adaptability from the volunteers. There is a variety of opportunity within the club, which is all volunteer run, and something to suit most. There is web design and maintenance, boat maintenence, admin duties, boat handling, sailing, marketing and organisational opportunities. 

Is training provided?: Yes

Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position which will be processed with you after you apply.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

General tidying of workshop spaces and boats, assist with projects, gain confidence in meeting people and learning new skills, sailing, boating and lots of other outdoor and water activities.

Skills required for this role:

No skills required and full training will be available 

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Will be a variety of times and days. It is all depending on a variety of things. Volunteers will be given plenty of notice. It is not a set time or day.

Minimum time commitment per week:
4 hour p/week
