Student volunteers are welcome to join in our new Global Chat Café on campus! Volunteers are trained in their role and then attend a weekly Café.
As a volunteer you are asked to engage with visiting international students and practice english language conversation through interactive games and activities.
Is training provided?: Yes
Skills required for this role:
If you would like to meet new people, volunteer your time to a fellow student that is seeking support, and build your skills in networking, facilitation and coaching - this is for you!
Details of time commitment needed for role:
The Global Chat Café takes place for an hour a week on campus. Volunteers are asked to commit to the 6 sessions.
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
