Description

The Global Citizen Award (GCA) is a programme that encourages international volunteers to use their overseas experience to take action and raise awareness of global justice on their return to Ireland. There are 3 levels of the GCA, each with various requirements.

We are running a free lunchtime webinar on December 1st 2020 1pm-2pm on Taking Collective Action on Social Justice Issues, you can sign up HERE for the event.

In this webinar we will explore what is involved with taking collective action.

  • Creating diverse and inclusive groups

  • Topics for collective action

  • Tools used to plan your action

  • Collaborating with other like-minded networks

  • Sign-posts for further action

There will be an opportunity for you to ask questions to the Global Citizen Award coordinator and a program coordinator who runs the ‘International Citizens for Local Perspectives’ (IC4LOP) Erasmus + project run by Comhlámh.

* Webinar link: This will be sent to all those registered on the 30th of November, 2020*
