Requirements:Garda Vetting, Safeguarding, Basic First Aid, Leader Application Form
Volunteer leaders required to help run meetings for girls aged 5 - 14 years. There is a programme to follow and full training and support proivided. The opportunity to become a Senior Branch Member of Irish Girl Guides where you can go on weekend wrips and camping opportunities.
Is training provided?: Yes
Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position which will be processed with you after you apply.
Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
The time commitment is approximately 1 to 2 hours per week
Skills required for this role:
To enjoy interacting with children, patience and kindness
Interest in Arts & Crafts or ogranising games is a bonus but not a necessity
Details of time commitment needed for role:
Meetings are usually in the evenings during the week
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
