Link Galway CLG
Galway
Requirements:IT Skills
Link Galway CLG is a 31 year old service operating in Galway City! At our peak in the latre 1990's there was three cafes in the city. Right now in 2025, we have one cafe open to the public making us the only not-for-profit cafe in Galway City! We also have a bakery and catering service as well as a catering skills training centre with plans to expand to an additional cafe this year! We currently employ 17 people with a disability in Galway with 12 trainees!
Our service went through a period of decline with little investment. Over the past 18 months, we have invested time and energy to improve our small independant organisation.
We are now stuck! Using our own internal skills, we have recently introduced a cloud server meaning our files are finally backed up as well as allowing access to our new management team!
As a fully registered charity, we have full access to the Microsoft Package. This means we have potental to utilise free email accounts on outlook for example but we dont know how!
We would be intereted in utilising more of the Microsoft Package and would be keen to lean more about Side Kick and how we could automate part of our service to cut down on basic tasks. We are open on ways to improve our service.
We are also open to improvements on our Shopify hosted website linkgalway.com
We can offer;
-Space in Cafe Link to work with free tea/coffee as well as a gift voucher to spend in our cafe or our delivery bakery/catering service
