Student Volunteering Community TU Dublin seeks Members
TU Dublin Societies Office
Society of Saint Vincent de Paul
Requirements:Interest in social justice and working against poverty
Joining a college SVP society is a great way to make new friends in college, explore ideas around social justice and poverty, and make a difference in your communities. College SVP societies are involved in a wide variety of activities, from art, music and homework clubs with local primary schools to working with people experiencing homelessness to campaigning for social justice in Ireland. Each group decides their own activities, so the work is tailored to your interests and skills. Each college group also has regular meet ups for more informal, social activities, so you'll get to know people with similar interests.
If there's a college group already running on your campus, we'll link you with them. If there isn't, we can talk to you about how we can support you to set one up, if you're interested in getting a group together!
