Requirements:TU Dublin Students keen to develop their leadership values through discreet roundtable sessions
The LIFT Ireland Roundtable Programme have been developed by a team of experts aimed at supporting Ireland's leaders.
We want you, our students, to get on board as LIFT Participants and to benefit as much as possible!
[ TU Dublin is also offering the opportunity for our students to become LIFT Facilitators through a one off 4 hour training session - see the LIFT Ireland Facilitator Opportunity https://www.studentvolunteer.ie/view-all/lift ]
TU Dublin LIFT Participants will collaborate with our LIFT Facilitators in a series of up to 8 LIFT roundtable sessions - each session lasting approx. 45 minutes.
Students will receive course materials for the roundtable sessions - everything you need is provided and there is no need for preparation for the sessions in advance.* (Likewise for our facilitators)
The roundtable discussions allow participants to confidentially and discreetly discuss up to 8 key leadership values:
Listening, Positive Attitude, Respect, Competence, Dedication & Determination, Empathy & Understanding, Accountability, and Honesty & Integrity.**
Register your interest here on www.studentvolunteer.ie by pressing apply and we will be in touch to arrange for you to participate in the Roundtable discussions.
Benefits for LIFT Participants?
*Support for our LIFT Participants at TU Dublin?
The brilliant aspect of LIFT is that being a facilitator is really well supported:
The programme comes with a workbook with step-by-step instructions and the entire programme is scripted. All of the sessions are conducted in a discreet non-judgemental way. The aim is for you to focus on the experience.
So if you have any concerns we want you to know that we will support you all the way and we know you can do it!
The LIFT programme is powerful and uses plain and simple approaches and languages to be accessible to all.
