The Marketing and Fundraising Assistant will aid in developing and executing strategies to drive fundraising initiatives, manage marketing campaigns, and secure grants to support the organisation’s goals. This position helps build leadership, strategic thinking, and strong communications skills.
This is a 100% volunteer opportunity that is conducted completely online through zoom. No need to travel anywhere!
PLEASE NOTE: One of the rules and regulations of Aphasia Ireland is that any volunteer asking for a reference is obliged to reside in Ireland and to commit for a minimum of 3 months with an 85% meeting attendance and performance rate.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and promote the organisation’s programs and initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling content and ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across all channels.
Collaborate with the fundraising team to create and execute fundraising campaigns and events.
Develop fundraising strategies and initiatives to maximise donor engagement and contributions.
Assist in grant writing and proposal development for foundation and government funding opportunities.
Any other related duties required by the needs of the team or the organisation.
Skills required for this role:
Experience in marketing/fundraising would be beneficial but is not required!
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with grant writing and proposal development would be beneficial.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Passionate about the organisation's mission and values.
