President Volunteer Programme
Requirements:Friendly and outgoing!
The ULStudent Volunteering Office (SVO) are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to promote and inform UL students about volunteering here on and off campus.
This is an exciting opportunity for any student whether they have volunteered before or not.
Commitment: 1- 2 hours weekly.
Role: To promote student volunteering and the President's Volunteer Award to the campus community and to work closely with the SVO team.
Volunteers can volunteer with friends or with a team selected by the SVO.
ALL HOURS COUNT TOWARDS A PRESIDENT'S VOLUNTEER AWARD (PVA)
Is training provided?: Yes
Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Promote volunteering across all social media channels, must have a keen interest in media marketing.
Attend promotional Events and Fairs with SVO team.
To promote and inform UL students about student volunteering.
Skills required for this role:
Ethuastic, friendly and outgoing personality.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Interest in civic engagement and volunteering.
Details of time commitment needed for role:
1- 2 hours weekly.
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
