Description

Enactus UL is part of the larger Enactus Ireland network. It is a university programme that encourages students to engage in social entrepreneurial activity. It involves using the skills and knowledge that has been built up in University and applying it to problems in the local community. It gives you the opportunity to make a difference in the world.

The Enactus organisation is supported by a list of Company partners; KPMG, Bank of Ireland, Enterprise Rent a Car, Musgraves, to name but a few. There are LOADS of opportunities and events that you can take part in to network with people from all the partner companies. 

Each year there is a National Competition. The winners of this get to represent Ireland at the Enactus World Cup. Whether win or lose, a couple students from each University get to attend the World Cup as the Irish Supporting Team. Enactus UL students have travelled to Mexico, Beijing and London thanks to being involved with the organisation. In May 2021, Enactus UL won at National Competition for the first time, we will proudly represent Ireland at the World Cup in October!

As part of Enactus UL you will have the opportunity to join one of our seven projects- each one with a different way in which they give back to the community!

Details of time commitment needed for role:
We hold our general meetings at 7pm every Tuesday in Kemmy Business School!

Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
