SVP has over 240 shops across Ireland. Our Vincent’s charity shops are a very important aspect of the service SVP provides. Not only do they provide people with new and lightly worn items at affordable prices, they also provide an income source for the Society, which is recycled directly back into the community.
The charity shops are managed by a small number of professionals, assisted by a large number of volunteers and by community employment trainees. The profits generated from the charity shops, some of which also supply furniture, are recycled into local Conferences around Ireland to support those in need.
A lot of shops have their Facebook or Instagram pages and would like to have Social Media assistant.
A lot of our shops started selling online through Facebook, Instagram, or other online platforms.
The number of our shops are providing Click-and-Collect service.
We are looking for volunteers willing to share their skills and professional advice on effective online selling strategies, marketing, online selling tips, and steps.
We are looking for volunteers who could provide online or one to one training/consultation on selling online for Vincent's shop managers/senior volunteers.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
We are looking for selling online volunteer/ coach.
Selling online and selling through social media is a new activity for most of our shops. Vincent's senior volunteers and managers would be delighted to receive professional support, one to one training on how to organise the Click-and-Collect and online selling most effectively, build up a network with potential partners on Social Media, and manage online sales.
We also look for Social Media Assistant who could help managers/senior volunteers with online promotions, engagement with the followers, etc.
