Requirements:Good knowledge of Spanish
Citywise Fast Track Academy offers Junior and Leaving Certificate students from underserved areas additional classes with exam subjects.
Volunteers include third level students, student teachers, current teachers and individuals passionate about a particular subject. No teacher training is required. This is a great way to have an impact on the lives of young people, gain experience teaching and work with young people.
Is training provided?: Yes
Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position which will be processed with you after you apply.
Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Complete Garda vetting.
Find a day/time that suits you to teach classes.
Teach at a level you are comfortable with.
Skills required for this role:
Willingness to learn.
Good knowledge of Spanish language.
Reliable.
Enthusiastic.
Details of time commitment needed for role:
Classes run between Monday and Thursday
Evenings (usually between 4.45-8.30)
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
