Student Volunteering Community TU Dublin seeks Members
TU Dublin Societies Office
Requirements:Knowledge of social media platforms
In mid October we are launching our new Generation Change initiative.
Generation Change is a fundraising challenge for undergrads who then receive support and guidance with their career and personal development in return, namely in the shape of a personal mentor and a practical internship with a charity, company, start up etc.
At SCOOP we hope the programme will help us collaborate more with the next generation giving them the platform they may want to become the change the world needs today. It will also help us partner up with the wider charity sector as we want to make it more open to undergrads in terms of their careers, and to partner up with companies in Ireland as we realise our dream of becoming the hardest working NGO in Ireland.
Is training provided?: Yes
Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Since we cant have a physical launch we will instead do a big social medus push, largely focused around our promo vid and hashtags etc. I won't lie, I'm 39 and a bit out of touch with social media, I could do with as much help, advice and inspiration as possible!
But my idea is to use mailing lists, social media platforms, the promo video and a digital (Zoom) launch to create a buzz and get the inaugural participants involved.
