Requirements:
Innishannon Tidy Towns has a number of community projects that would be suitable for students to become involved in. These include both hands-on outdoor projects as well as some computer-based projects which could be done from home office.
Is training provided?: Yes
Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Outdoor activities would include painting, gardening, etc.
Computer based activities may include one or some of the following activities: Managing the Tidy Towns social media and communications channels, assistance with the annual Tidy Towns report for the village, creation of a map of the village, designing street signs, etc
Details of time commitment needed for role:
Volunteering hours are flexible and the volunteer can generally choose these hours himself/herself.
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
Additional screening required for this role:
All applicants will be asked to submit their CV and also take part in a pre-selection meeting with one of the Tidy Towns Committee.
