The roles of the committee positions for societies are listed below. Please note some societies have niche positions that will not be covered but you can still register here to log your hours.

- Chairperson

- Vice Chairperson

- Treasurer

- Secretary


- Health & Safety Officer

- Social Media Officer

- Events Officer

- 1st Year Representative

All committee members are supported by the staff of the Societies Office.

Is training provided?: Yes

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

Partake in the organising and running of your society.
Attend your committee meetings, plan events and recruit student members.

Skills required for this role:

Ability to work as part of a team + good communication + interpersonal skills + adaptability BUT no prior skills are needed as this is a all about learning as you go.

We will provide the training, giving you the base for the skills you can work on.

Minimum time commitment per week:
4 hour p/week
