Role of SV Champions is to work with Finn O'Neill our Chairperson of Student Volunteering* and Claire TU Dublin's Student Volunteering Co-ordinator to advise us on how to reach students and offer relevant opportunities and activities to student registered as interested in volunteering during this year. Our SV Champions will also advise on plans for recognition and reward for student volunteers.
*Finn is the elected Chairperson for Student Volunteering for 20/21 at TU Dublin, sitting on the Societies Executive and is on the committee of TU Dublin SVP Society (SVP /Saint Vincent de Paul is a national charity with associated societies in many colleges and universities in Ireland) .
Finn aims to keep student volunteers at TU Dublin connected this year.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
We will meet approx fortnightly for one hour and actions for the group will be developed and discussed in these meetings to promote and support Student Volunteering at TU Dublin.
Skills required for this role:
We hope that our SV Champions will gain organisational and team working skills and confidence through this opportunity.
SV Champions will need to be committed and consistent in their contribution to group ideas and the work needed to realise these ideas.
The group will be supported by Finn and Claire.
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
