UglyFoods is a brand-new Enactus project aiming to reduce food waste in a sustainable way - by subsidizing fruit and veg that do not meet the ‘cosmetic standards’ of food markets. Our main aims include reducing food waste while providing nutritious food for students at affordable prices, which aligns with the main goals of Enactus – working to reach the UN SDGs.
UglyFoods is also heading to compete in the Enactus Action4Impact competition, a recent Enactus competitor which gives early-stage Enactus projects to win funding and industry support to accelerate their work and make an impact.
Weekly meetings are held every Tuesday at 6:00 PM in Kemmy Business School.
We are looking for people who are passionate about food sustainability or have a knack for entrepreneurship and want to make an impact in the UL community. Students from any course/ year are most welcome and encouraged to join!
Any and all hours are counted towards the PVA.

Every Tuesday at 6pm in KB114 (Kemmy Business School)
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
