DiME Executive Committee 2020/21
Diversity in Medical Education (DiME)
President Volunteer Programme
Requirements:No specific requirement - open to all UL students
We are asking the UL students to walk/run/cycle 40km with their dogs/cats/rabbits/horses (or by yourself or with a friend!) in aid of Irish animal shelters and arts and crafts activities for nursing homes.
Once completing the event students are asked to donate a minimum of €5 (or more if your feeling generous!) to our GoFundMe page here. Feel free to post a picture of you with your animals out on your walk/run/cycle or just a post-walk selfie with the #ULDoGood - We will be sharing these to our social media channels.
Once you complete your 40km you will need to prove that you have completed it - you can download a free app to track and record your kms. Details below.
Students are also welcome to do their own fundraising, such as holding a quiz night or bake off with their friends or family members to raise even more money for these two great causes.
By completing this fundraiser you are eligible for a COVID-19 PVA.
The deadline for this opportunity is May 31st.
