UL CLUBS & SOCIETY COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERING
The Roles of the Core Committee Positions for Clubs & Societies are stipulated underneath. These opportunities are ONLY available to those elected members of the voluntary Clubs & Societies on campus affiliated to University of Limerick Student Life.The Clubs & Societies is a department of the University of Limerick Students Life. The Clubs & Societies under the auspices of Student Life is responsible for the financial,legal,insurance and administrative support to all voluntary Clubs & Societies as approved by the Clubs & Societies Executive and its Clubs & Societies Council.
COMMITTEE ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The standard committee roles & responsibilities for all committee positions can probably be best captured with some if not all of the following duties which shall include, but not be limited to,
Compliance with the policies, procedures and Common Constitution as stipulated by the Clubs & Societies Council
Awareness & Active engagement with the Club or Societies Health & Safety Statement and its on-going development and implementation
Representation at the Clubs & Societies Council
Liaising and communicating with the entire committee and the membership
Liaising closely with the Clubs & Societies team.
Understand the finances of the club/society and an active involvement with the submission of the annual budget
Must be a named signatory on the Bank Mandate of the Club/Society
Preparation of Handover documents at the end of their term in office in office
Active Roles in the C&S Website for membership and updates
Dealing with disputes, conflicts and resolutions
Relevant to Capital Intensive Clubs & Societies an active engagement with the 3-year plan and maintenance of equipment log/inventory
Compliance with Foreign Travel policy
Approval of C&S Vehicles drivers
Assisting PRO in marketing of the Club/Society
More specific duties relevant to certain positions might encompass additional responsibilities outside of these 15 standard responsibilities.

Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position which will be processed with you after you apply.
