Is training provided?: Yes
Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Some of the tasks include:
Invigilating visual art exhibitions, stewarding street spectacle events, welcoming audiences, ushering at theatre and dance performances and assisting at the First Thought Talks. Ambassadors are those who provide information on the programme to the public around town and green ambassadors are responsible for encouraging audiences to dispose of their waste appropriately. More information on each role will be provided at the volunteers' induction sessions.
Details of time commitment needed for role:
Volunteers can decide the number of hours they wish to volunteer for and they can create their own schedule though a volunteer portal.
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
Additional screening required for this role:
Once you sign up here, you will be contacted by the GIAF Volunteer Manager and you will be invited to complete the GIAF volunteer application form which goes live on 2/05/2023
