Requirements:Good with children/teens with knowledge of neurodiversity/autism
Looking for volunteers who might be available to help run camps within a charity for the summer. There will be facilitators present at all times, and training is given. You might sign up for morning and/or afternoon camps in our GAP house where we could be dancing, painting, making music, crafting or simply playing.
There are all different age groups from 3+ with various levels of ability. You receive profiles on the children/teens who will attend the camp in advance of their arrivals to help up get to know the campers faster. Children/vulnerable adults safety is imperative to the running of our camps at all times.
Is training provided?: Yes
Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position which will be processed with you after you apply.
Details of time commitment needed for role:
Midweek commitment, morning and afternoon clubs and camps. Preferably free for mornings for an entire week or afternoons for an entire week, or both for an entire week. Camps are maximum 2.5 hours per day.
Minimum time commitment per week:
3 hour p/week
