Description

South Dublin County Partnership works with people who experience poverty and social exclusion. SDCP promotes social cohesion, active citizenship and labour market participation with a focus on the most disadvantaged neighbourhoods in the area.

We offer a range of integrated activities in Community Development, Lifelong Learning, Enterprise and Employment, Family and Early Childhood and Health and Wellbeing.

Help@Home is a new volunteer led project offered to families in the Tallaght area who are going through a tough time and have at least one child under the age of 18.

The project will support families by providing short interventions to help with home cleaning/organisation to help alleviate the pressure they are experiencing.

Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position which will be processed with you after you apply.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

We are looking for volunteers who  are willing to help support families in their home by carrying out light household tasks so they can concentrate on the important role of being a parent.

Volunteers will be provided with first rate training and support in this role.  All new volunteers will be Garda vetted.

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Monday - Friday 9.30 -1.30

Minimum time commitment per week:
2 hour p/week
