Requirements:Drivers licence and car an advantage. Must be over 21
We work with young people from 15-21 who find themselves involved in the Probation Service. We match them up to Volunteer Mentors who meet them weekly. The idea is that by forming a relationship with them and engaging them in Pro Social activities the young person is exposed to the various opportunities and choices they have for a positive future. No experience required. Full training provided over two weekends in March 2020. All we require is a warm enthusiastic motivated empathetic personality who can commit to 2-3 hours for at least 12 months from March 2020. This is a rewarding volunteering opportunity that will enhance any students work experience and CV. All activity costs are covered by Le Cheile.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Weekly meeting with young person which is usually based around food and a chat or an activity. Full training and supervison and support provided. Your personality and time could help change a young person's future. Apply now and attend our information evening in Feb 2020.
