Requirements:Motivated enthusiastic person who enjoys working with young people in achieving their educational aspirations.
Education Support Volunteer required for minimum of 10 weeks to support young person completing primary school homework for 45 mins to 1 hour one day a week.
This is home based and therefore does not entail lone working.
Support and training in relation to the volunteer post is given as well as supervision.
Weekly volunteer record to be submitted via email.
Location of volunteering opportunity:
20 km from Tralee on the Killarney side. Milltown, Firies and Castlemaine area.

Volunteers will be provided with the following supports:
Support/ advice/ recognition
Initial induction and training
Reimbursement of expenses
Ongoing training opportunities

Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position.
Details of time commitment needed for role:
1 hour a week, on weekday afternoons/evenings
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
