PVA Hours are accumulated throughout the year by volunteering in different HEP events/opportunities.
Breakdown of hours:
Gold : 90 hours
Silver: 60 hours
Bronze: 20 hours
At the end of the year the amount of hours you have accumulated will correspond to the PVA awarded (see above for hours breakdown).
You will need to submit a reflective portfolio at the end of the year regarding your volunteering experience, this is done through the PVA website and approved by the PVA team.
*The PVA team will send an email near the end of the year on how to go about filling this out*
Once that is accepted you will receive your PVA certificate in the mail (usually end of August or September). There is also a ceremony if you wish to attend.

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Biweekly meetings and running events.
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
