Are you planning to run in the VHI Women's Mini Marathon on June 2nd? We're looking for volunteers to fundraise for Aphasia Ireland as part of this mini-marathon! As a thank you, you would also receive a t-shirt with the Aphasia Ireland logo to run with.
Who is Aphasia Ireland?
Aphasia is an invisible communication disability. It is an acquired neurogenic language disorder. Aphasia occurs when the parts of the brain associated with our ability to understand and use language become damaged. The most common cause of aphasia is stroke.
Aphasia Ireland is a registered charity, formed with the sole aim of creating
awareness and support for sufferers and those around them. With your help, we
wish to empower people with Aphasia to overcome the challenges and barriers
that stand in the way of a normal happy life.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Run in the VHI Women's Mini Marathon for Aphasia Ireland!
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
