Requirements:Volunteers will be asked to register on the parkrun website to get a parkrun barcode.
There are a variety of tasks at parkrun these include: course set up, event day course check, timekeepers, barcode scanners, giving out finish tokens, marshals, tail walkers, park walkers, run director, photographer and first timers briefing.
For the majority of these roles, no experience is needed!! For run director, course-set up and first timers briefing we ask that you have come to and volunteered at a few events so that you know the drill.

Is training provided?: Yes
Skills required for this role:
No skills are required!! There is lots of information on the website and our run director each week will be able to help volunteers on the day.
Details of time commitment needed for role:
Parkrun happens every Saturday morning at 9:30am. Volunteers who run the event are required to be there from approximately 9:00am to 11:00am although often we finish up around 10:40am.
There is two exceptions: those on course set-up and event day course check need to arrive at 8:30 but are free at 9:30 (to go home or to also participate in parkrun!)
Minimum time commitment per week:
2 hour p/week
