Description

An exciting opportunity for students to have fun and gain experience working with young people (10yrs) with Ballingarry Youth Club, Co. Limerick.

Supported by experienced volunteers, the successful candidates will support the running of youth club from taking part in activies and programmes. 

Ballingarry Youth Club is affiliated to Limerick Youth Service (LYS) and located at the Ballingarry Community Centre,

Ongoing support will be provided by the LYS Youth Work team. 

LYS engages with over 5,000 young people annually across a number of sectors including: youth work, education, training in addition to many more.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

Assist in welcoming young people

Support the delivery of activities and programmes.  These can range form dancing, music, sports, board games and more.

Skills required for this role:

Outgoing and good listener

Ability to run programmes and work on your own initiative 

Have fun 

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Friday evenings (7-9pm)

Minimum time commitment per week:
2 hour p/week
