ISPCC Childline is holding their National Collection Day on the 18th May (17th May in Cork)

Can you help Childline raise vital funds by shaking a bucket or leading a team in your area?

We are looking for volunteers to help fundraise for ISPCC.  T-shirts and fundraising buckets will be provided.

Childline answers over 1,000 contacts from children and young people every day, The service costs €3.5 million to fund every year and we rely on your support for over 90% of this funding.

Is training provided?: No

Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

We are asking volunteers to donate at least 2 hours on 18th May to be out on the streets and shopping centres of Ireland to fundraise for ISPCC Childline.

We would also love if student groups could come together to lead and co-ordinate a particular area or shopping centre in their city (subject to our permits).  We would be in contact with you beforehand to issue you with fundraising buckets, t-shirts etc. 

We would love to hear from you and will do our best to help with everything you need on the day.

Skills required for this role:

The role will suit those individuals or groups with an outgoing personality and a passion for the charity.  All are welcome - friends, family, community groups!

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Friday 18th May, (17th May in Cork)

Minimum time commitment per week:
2 hour p/week

Additional screening required for this role:
As this is a one day event no additional screening is required, once we hear from you we can answer any of your questions to help make the day as successful as possible!
