UL Aquatic Centre
CSMT (Community Substance Misuse Team) aims to assist youths, families and communities to develop effective and supportive coping strategies to deal with substance misuse in the Mid West region. We are looking for volunteers to help in a fund raising exercise. Though as a charity we recieve the majority of our funding through the HSE, we still have need for extra funding.
This is an opportunity for business students who would be able come up with ways of obtaining new avenues for funding. This is an exercise into researching ways of obtaining funds that we may not be aware of and being creative in doing it. This is not about shaking buckets in the street or bag packing.
We will also looking for the voulunteers, to come up with ideas on how to receive donations from events like the JP MacManus ProAM event in Adare in 2020.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Volunteers that are successful would have to submit a fortnight report of work process. And to give a presentation at the end to explain their ideas.
Skills required for this role:
Clear and concise communication skills, enthusiastic and vibrant. be able to think outside the box.
creative and motivated to work in a team or on their own.
Details of time commitment needed for role:
Most of the work would be done in the volunteers own time outside our office
Minimum time commitment per week:
2 hour p/week
