The Hunt Society is partnering with Mental Health Ireland-Limerick to collaborate on ideas that can bring more awareness to The Hunt and Limerick's goals of enabling better mental health for all.

Areas of focus include: events/festivals and visitor research.
Our Permanent Collection exhibits the original artefacts gathered, over a life time, by John and Gertrude Hunt. The museum also holds temporary exhibitions of local, national and international significance with the overall aim of maximising their cultural and educational potential for the people of Limerick and Ireland.
We ask for a minimum of 2/3 hours per month and a mandatory Garda vetting. This is an 18+ volunteering opportunity.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
You will be required to sign in and out everytime you volunteer. This will allow us to keep track of your hours for proper certification when you are finished volunteering with us. Sometimes we ask that volunteers help us set-up and take-down for events and workshops, this may involve lifting or pushing. Many volunteering positions involve direct contact with public visitors to the Museum, and engagement with them. Invigilation, tour guiding, visitor research, kids and families events, special events, Culture night, and more depending on your interested level of involvement.

The Museum is open from 10am - 5pm, Monday - Friday. Sunday from 2 - 5pm and bank holidays 2pm - 5pm.

1 hour p/week
