Description

The TU Dublin Pastoral Care and Chaplaincy with the support of the School of Biological and Health Sciences and the School of Culinary Arts and Food Technology are excited to invite student volunteers to join them in support of Irish Cancer Society on Friday.

This year the Daffodil Day fundraiser will be held in St Laurence's at Grangegorman for the first time (to continue the DIT Kevin St tradition) on 25th March from 10.30-12 noon.

Rather than running separate events for Daffodil Day around the campus, we would like the focus to be on the St Lawrence's coffee morning event that day, and we are looking for volunteers to help at the event with the practical things, the signposting and the stewarding.

We are also looking for student volunteers to promote the event in imaginative creative ways in advance of the event and on the morning of the event too.

Do you think you would like to help out? Would you like to lend a hand on the day? Have you some creative ideas to contribute?

Make sure to apply here for more information and then after you have volunteered you can log your hours here on www.studentvolunteer.ie to go towards your TU Dublin Pillar of the Community medal!

Is training provided?: No

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

There is an opportunity for students who just have an hour or two to spare on the day to come and help with the teas and coffees.

There is an opportunity for students who have an interested in helping to promote the event to help us to do so in advance to make sure the TU Dublin community know about it.

Also if you are based at another TU Dublin campus  -  Blanchardstown or Tallaght - would you like to host a coffee morning there?!
