TU Dublin community has a proud history of supporting Pieat House and Darkness Into Light was an annual event at Grangegorman and this year we are supporting Darkness Into Light 2021 online, and through fundraising challenges and by doing the sunrise walk on our own or in our bubbles.

You can be part of our TU Dublin community effort by supporting Pieta House Darkness Into Light 2021.

There are three options:
1. Promoting the sponsor us option via a donation on our DIL fundriaisng page:
2. Sign up to join our fundraising effort, set a challenge and set a target - more info below*
3. Walk at Sunrise on 8th May & send us a picture on instagram - @tudublin and @tudublinvolunteering #TUDublinDIL

*Signing up:
If you are signing up - you can choose the 'Sunrise walk' or 'Challenge'.
If you would like to set yourself or a team a challenge to help fundraise for Pieta House with Darkness Into Light you can choose anything you like from a walk, a run, a hike, a funny challenge, run an event such as an online quiz or something creative.

We would love for you to make a short video (up to one minute) to help us to support the campaign sending it to

Anyone can do the sunrise walk if possible on 8th May (sunrise is 5.36am) and take a picture and send it to us or post it on instagram @tudublinvolunteering and tag us and use hashtag #TUDublinDIL

Remember, when you support Darkness Into Light in whatever way you can, you are not just helping to raise awareness of suicide and self-harm. You are helping to save lives.

If you do get involved you can apply here as a formality and log your hours too.
