Requirements:A passion in making positive change
This committee has been established by the Equal Opportunities Chairperson to tackle a variety of issues that are faced by students and staff on our campus with regards to a variety of disabilities. This role involves attending committee meetings, taking initiative with ongoing projects and implementing change at UL.
All that is required for this role is a bit of free time, enthusiasm and passion for making UL a more friendly and accessible campus for everyone.
Meetings run on Thursday evenings in the Student Centre meeting room from 18:15 to 19:15.
Is training provided?: No
Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Email communications, meeting attendance, lobbying and campagining for the implementation of various provisions and raising awareness for issues faced by students, staff and visitors on our campus.
Skills required for this role:
Good communication, enthusiasm, ability to work as part of a team and as an individual and a genuine interest in the topic.
