Our services rely on the income from our 21 Charity shops across the country.  Our charity shops cannot operate without the assistance of volunteers.  Volunteer tasks include sorting clothes, steaming them before they are put on display, tagging them and hanging the clothes in the shop.

You also will look after the customer experience from when they enter the shop to purchasing items including add on sales and link selling.  You will have the opportunity to do some product placement/merchandising and how to reach weekly sales targets.

This type of volunteering is very helpful on your CV as work experience and can assist you get part time work down the road in retail.  We provide manual handling training.

Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position.

Sorting clothing in our back room





Dealing with the customers

Add on sales and link selling

Product placement/merchandishing

Weekly sales targets

Details of time commitment needed for role:
The shops will be so delighted to have you volunteer that they will work around your hour needs, if you could commit to 3 hours per week that would be fantastic. Our shops are open Monday to Saturday. Volunteers usually volunteer between the hours of 10am and 4.30 pm.

Minimum time commitment per week:
3 hour p/week

Additional screening required for this role:
If you can send us a curriculum vitae that would be great, but we do not require any work experience as we provide all the training you will require to work in the shop.
